Boasting an unassuming and relaxed atmosphere, Barelle Vineyards is nestled at the start of the historic 290 Wine Trail in Fredericksburg.

Just a five-minute drive from the downtown area, this site was built in 1902 as a one-room schoolhouse. Later, it was expanded and remodeled as a showroom for unique wines made by local women. The Tasting Room revolves around a philosophy of showcasing a team of under-represented wine from a diverse group of Texan Female Winemakers.

Wine Styles Offered at Barelle Vineyards

Red Wines

Book a Tasting Reservation

While you don’t need to make a reservation for groups of seven or less, it’s recommended to do so just to keep the vineyard prepared and notified of your arrival. Reservations are required for groups of eight or more, and for private tables and rooms such as the Schoolhouse, Rose Room or Grey Room.
