Winery Spotlight: Barons Creek Vineyards

This month, we’ll be taking a look at Barons Creek Vineyards in Fredericksburg, TX – one of incredible wineries along the 290 Wine Trail.

There are always special events such as live music going on here in this award-winning winery highlighted by a laid-back atmosphere. In addition to the vineyard in Fredericksburg, they have a variety of tasting rooms around Texas, including Dallas, McKinney, and more. The Fredericksburg location is their flagship location.

Barons Creek offers a few different package options for wine lovers:

• Wine Tasting: A basic wine tasting is $30/person and includes five hand-selected wines.
• Ultimate Wine Experience: This is a six-wine premium, immersive tasting led by one of Barons’ wine professionals within an intimate setting. Enjoy bespoke food pairings tailored to the flavor and personality of each wine. If you want a more thorough education in wine, choose this option exploring Texas’ highest quality vintages.
• Wine Makers Experience: This is an exclusive tasting experience with assistant winemaker, Chris West. Available on Saturdays only, you can choose from two time slots – noon and 2:30pm.

The unique thing about Barons Creek Vineyards is that they offer accommodations in the form of two distinct villas that feature two private master suites and four private guest bedrooms each. This can be a great way to celebrate a special event or just to escape for a weekend getaway.

Overall, there are 12 rooms available, with four master suites and eight guest suites, perfect for special events such as weddings and birthdays. These are only available for booking at their flagship location in Fredericksburg.

Two weeks prior to each wine release, members receive an email outlining the new wines plus the total discounted price. You can accept it as it and the order will be processed, or you can choose to customize your order, log in to your account, and hand select the wines you want.

For instance, the 12-bottle mixed wine option gives you 30% off all purchases, while the six bottles of sweet wine will give you a 25% discount on all purchases. There is even a three bottle white wine option that earns you a 15% discount.
