This working vineyard and winery is 100 percent direct to consumer, intentionally focused on creating the ideal wine club for members. Owners Brian and Jennifer Heath bought Grape Creek Vineyards in 2006 as the flagship for Heath Family Brands. Over the years, they have broadened the operation to four winery and vineyard estates as well as urban tasting rooms in both downtown Georgetown and Fredericksburg, TX. Jason Englert has been with the Grape Creek Vineyards family since 2004, growing the wine program from 2,500 cases to 80,000 cases across all Heath Family Brands. He is the most decorated winemaker in Texas, achieving more than 190 90+ scores and over 1,000 medals from all the most prestigious wine competitions in the nation.

Visiting Grape Creek Vineyards

At the 290 vineyard, you can choose from a variety of experiences:

  • Classic Tasting: For $30, you can sample a wide array of varietals geared toward curious and discerning palates alike. It includes a wine flight customized to your preferences.
  • Taste & Tour: For $45, you can experience the winemaking process firsthand, starting with a scenic tram ride through the vineyards. You’ll get a tour of the production facilities and visit a working barrel room where you can taste aging wine right from the barrels. You can then enjoy a wine flight in the tasting room from the Grape Creek collection. This experience lasts one hour.
  • Jenblossom Cellars Private Tasting: On Saturdays, for $45, you can enjoy a seated tasting that features the Jenblossom Cellars Collection. These include ultra-premium Pinot Noirs and Cabernets sourced from Grape Creek’s growers in Napa Valley. This experience lasts an hour and a half.

There are additional experiences to choose from at the Downtown Fredericksburg and Georgetown locations.
