Reservations and Amenities
Slate Theory Winery and Vineyards uses only high-quality fruit from its Estate Vineyards as well as reputable growers throughout Texas. You have a few options when visiting. You can head to their main tasting room, which is first come, first served, with no reservation required.
Slate Theory also has a few reservation-required offerings, including Production Tours, Cave Tastings and Elevated Paired Tastings, all for 21+ ONLY.
- Cave Tasting: Enjoy this one-hour line-up of current releases while seated at a private table and room within the underground active wine cellar. The cost is $50 per person with $10 deposit applied at the end to the balance of the tasting.
- Paired Cave Tasting: Take things to the next level with this culinary and wine journey that starts with an Amuse Bouche pairing in Slate Theory’s production facility. Then, check out their expansive underground cave cellar within a private tasting bay where you and your guests will enjoy four wine and plated food pairings. End with a special barrel tasting and custom chocolate pairing. This experience lasts between 90 minutes and two hours Tuesdays through Saturdays only. The cost is $120/person, with a $20 deposit (deducted from total) with reservation.
- Production Tour: This 45-minute walking experience takes you through Slate Theory’s production facility and underground wine cellar. You’ll sample four wines and learn all about Slate Theory’s unique story. The cost is $45 per person, with a $10 non-refundable deposit to secure the reservation that counts towards the $45 price tag.
