Today’s winery spotlight is shining brightly on Heath Sparkling Wines, located at 10591 US HWY 290 East in Fredericksburg, TX. Part of Heath Family Brands, this classy and iconic vineyard specializes in – you guessed it – sparkling wines of all kinds. Heath Sparkling Wines, the first winery in the state dedicated to the art of fine sparkling winemaking, offers a unique and immersive multi-sensory tasting experience.

Tasting Experiences

The experiences are classified into New Guest Experiences and Member Tasting Options.

New Guest Experiences

  • Paired Tasting Option: $40. Distinctive sparkling wines paired with seasonal chef-prepared small bites.
  • Classic Tasting: $30. Guided tasting of current vintages with a flight of four current vintages. No small bites.

Member Tasting Options

  • Member Patios: Sparkling tasting flights at your own pace, taking place at the member patios of Heath Sparkling Wines and Grape Creek Vineyards. This is a relaxing tasting experience of all four of the current releases.
  • Private Tastings: Only available Fridays and Saturdays.

Member Patio and Restaurant Reservations

  • Heath Sparkling Patio: Wine service and small bites.
  • Grape Creek Patio: Wine service and small bites.
  • Stout’s Signature: Restaurant full menu and wine service at Grape Creek.

All restaurant and patio seating is exclusive to members. Walk-ins are welcome but reservations are strongly recommended on weekends.

House Rules

Like all vineyards, Heath Sparkling Wines has a few house rules for visitors.

Heath Sparkling Wines prides itself on steering away from the party-like atmosphere that has become commonplace at several area wineries. These house rules were crafted to preserve and enhance the guest and member experience.

All Visitors

  • 21+ only (no children or babies).
  • ADA Service animals only.
  • No groups larger than four unless prior exception has been made. Here is the special request form.
  • Restaurant, patio, and lounge seating at all locations is reserved for members and their guests (up to 6 people max).
  • No smoking/vaping anywhere on the property.
  • No outside food, drinks, or containers.
  • No firearms.
  • All vehicles must fit in a single, standard parking space on weekends.
  • Arrive 10 minutes before scheduled tasting time (late arrivals will forfeit tasting fee).
  • No party paraphernalia (boas, matching t-shirts, etc.)

New Guests

  • Reservations recommended.
  • All new visitors must purchase a tasting option, with the exception of designated drivers.
  • Last tastings are at 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday and 4:45pm Friday through Sunday.

Members

  • Bottle/glass wine service and patio, restaurant, and lounge seating at all locations is for members and their guests only (6 max).
  • Reservations recommended.
  • Tables should only be occupied for a maximum of two hours.
  • Last wine service 5pm.
